Serving the people of Southwestern Alaska, the Yukon-Kuskokwim Hospital is a 50-bed general acute care medical facility. Fully accredited by JCAHO, services include adult med/surg, pediatrics, obstetrics, emergency room, as well as outpatient family medicine clinics, pharmacy, lab, and imaging. 

To ensure thorough, accurate, and timely patient accounting charge entry and cash posting for services delivered at Yukon Kuskokwim Health Corporation patient care facilities.  Responsible for the timely collection, review, preparation and entry of third party patient charge slips and/or payments.

High school diploma or equivalent.  College level course in Medical Terminology desirable

Six (6) months computer experience - IBM (or compatible) computer experience or class credits including MS Excel and Word.  Alphabetical and numerical filing experience.  Experience with printers, photocopiers, fax machines, and multi-line phone systems
