Serving the people of Southwestern Alaska, the Yukon-Kuskokwim Hospital is a 50-bed general acute care medical facility. Fully accredited by JCAHO, services include adult med/surg, pediatrics, obstetrics, emergency room, as well as outpatient family medicine clinics, pharmacy, lab, and imaging. 

Under the supervision of Journeyman Plumber, provides layout and installation of mechanical and plumbing systems for new YKHC construction.  Installs, repairs and replaces pipes, fittings and plumbing fixtures to maintain the heating, water, gas and drainage systems.  Job requires frequent travel between Alaska villages in small airplanesand eating and sleeping often in remote areas.

High School Diploma or GED.  Trade/Technical school preferred.  Must enroll in Journeyman Plumber training program within three months of hire.
